How do I send a voice drop?
Open the app, tap on a friend from your Quick Send list or navigate to the recording screen. Press and hold the record button to capture your message (up to 10 seconds free, 30 seconds with Pro), then release to preview. Tap send to deliver it instantly to your friend.
How do I add the widget to my home screen?
On your iPhone, long-press on an empty area of your home screen until the apps jiggle. Tap the + button in the top left corner, search for "VoiceDrop", and select your preferred widget size (small, medium, or large). Tap "Add Widget" to place it on your home screen.
Why can't I hear my voice drops?
Make sure your iPhone is not on silent mode (check the switch on the side of your phone). Also ensure the volume is turned up. If you're still having issues, try closing and reopening the app, or check that VoiceDrop has permission to use your speakers in Settings > VoiceDrop.
How do I add friends?
Go to the Friends tab and tap the + button. You can search for friends by their username. When you send a friend request, they'll need to accept it before you can exchange voice drops.
What's included in VoiceDrop Pro?
VoiceDrop Pro includes: 30-second voice drops (vs 10 seconds free), unlimited friends (vs 5 free), and you'll be supporting indie development! You can subscribe weekly, monthly, yearly, or get lifetime access.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings on your iPhone > tap your name at the top > Subscriptions > VoiceDrop > Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
How long are voice drops stored?
Voice drops are automatically deleted after 7 days. This keeps your storage clean and ensures your conversations stay fresh.
Is VoiceDrop secure?
Yes! We use Sign in with Apple for authentication, and all voice drops are encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data to third parties.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings in the app > scroll down and tap "Delete Account". This will permanently delete your account, all your voice drops, and friend connections. This action cannot be undone.
